Copyright and takedown requests (DMCA)

YTScript does not host videos. Transcripts are built from captions that are publicly available on YouTube, and cached copies expire automatically. If you are a copyright owner, or authorised to act for one, and believe material available through our Site infringes your rights, email contact@ytscript.app with the subject "Copyright notice" and include:

  1. your name, postal address, telephone number and email address;
  2. a description of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed;
  3. the exact URL(s) on https://ytscript.app where the material appears (for example the transcript page link);
  4. a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
  5. a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf;
  6. your physical or electronic signature.

When we receive a valid notice, we will remove or disable access to the material on our Site (for example by blocking the transcript page for that video) and may notify the person concerned where possible. To have content removed from YouTube itself, use YouTube's own copyright process at https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/2807622.

If you believe material was removed by mistake, you may send a counter-notice to the same address with the details required by applicable law.

Hoe lang duurt het voor ik antwoord krijg?
Dit is een kleine organisatie en geen helpdesk, dus antwoorden komen niet direct. Berichten worden gelezen; een duidelijk bericht met de details erbij krijgt sneller antwoord.
Moet ik de videolink meesturen bij een bugmelding?
Ja, altijd. Of een video een ondertitelspoor heeft, is het eerste dat je controleert, en de link beslecht dat meteen.
Kunnen jullie content verwijderen?
Ben jij de rechthebbende van iets en wil je dat er iets aan gedaan wordt, zeg dat dan in het bericht en zet de details erbij. Verzoeken worden door een mens gelezen en niet automatisch afgehandeld.
Kan ik een functie aanvragen?
Ja. Het probleem beschrijven dat je probeert op te lossen is nuttiger dan de functie beschrijven, want dat wijst meestal op een eenvoudiger antwoord.
Bieden jullie een API of bulkverwerking?
Op dit moment niet. De site is gebouwd rond één video of één bestand per keer.
