Copyright and takedown requests (DMCA)

YTScript does not host videos. Transcripts are built from captions that are publicly available on YouTube, and cached copies expire automatically. If you are a copyright owner, or authorised to act for one, and believe material available through our Site infringes your rights, email contact@ytscript.app with the subject "Copyright notice" and include:

  1. your name, postal address, telephone number and email address;
  2. a description of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed;
  3. the exact URL(s) on https://ytscript.app where the material appears (for example the transcript page link);
  4. a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
  5. a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf;
  6. your physical or electronic signature.

When we receive a valid notice, we will remove or disable access to the material on our Site (for example by blocking the transcript page for that video) and may notify the person concerned where possible. To have content removed from YouTube itself, use YouTube's own copyright process at https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/2807622.

If you believe material was removed by mistake, you may send a counter-notice to the same address with the details required by applicable law.

Hvor lang tid tar det å få svar?
Dette er en liten virksomhet og ikke en supportavdeling, så svar kommer ikke umiddelbart. Meldinger blir lest; en tydelig melding med detaljene inkludert får svar før.
Bør jeg sende med videolenken i en feilmelding?
Ja, alltid. Om en video har et undertekstspor, er det første man sjekker, og lenken avgjør det med en gang.
Kan dere fjerne innhold?
Hvis du er rettighetshaver til noe og vil at det skal tas hånd om, si det i meldingen og ta med detaljene. Henvendelser leses av et menneske og behandles ikke automatisk.
Kan jeg ønske meg en ny funksjon?
Ja. Å beskrive problemet du prøver å løse, er mer nyttig enn å beskrive funksjonen, fordi det vanligvis peker mot et enklere svar.
Tilbyr dere API eller massebehandling?
Ikke i dag. Nettstedet er bygget rundt én video eller én fil om gangen.
