Copyright and takedown requests (DMCA)

YTScript does not host videos. Transcripts are built from captions that are publicly available on YouTube, and cached copies expire automatically. If you are a copyright owner, or authorised to act for one, and believe material available through our Site infringes your rights, email contact@ytscript.app with the subject "Copyright notice" and include:

  1. your name, postal address, telephone number and email address;
  2. a description of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed;
  3. the exact URL(s) on https://ytscript.app where the material appears (for example the transcript page link);
  4. a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
  5. a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf;
  6. your physical or electronic signature.

When we receive a valid notice, we will remove or disable access to the material on our Site (for example by blocking the transcript page for that video) and may notify the person concerned where possible. To have content removed from YouTube itself, use YouTube's own copyright process at https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/2807622.

If you believe material was removed by mistake, you may send a counter-notice to the same address with the details required by applicable law.

Usa questa pagina per tutto quello a cui le altre non rispondono: un video che non produce la trascrizione, un bug, una domanda su come funziona qualcosa o una richiesta su un contenuto. I messaggi arrivano a una persona, non in una coda.

Se segnali un video che non ha funzionato, includi il link: quasi ogni segnalazione del genere si riduce al fatto che il video non ha sottotitoli, e con il link lo si conferma in un passaggio invece che in diversi.

Quanto tempo ci vuole per una risposta?
Questa è una realtà piccola, non un servizio di assistenza, quindi le risposte non sono immediate. I messaggi vengono letti; uno chiaro, con tutti i dettagli, riceve risposta prima.
Devo mandare il link del video con la segnalazione di un bug?
Sì, sempre. Se un video ha una traccia di sottotitoli è la prima cosa da controllare, e il link lo chiarisce subito.
Potete rimuovere un contenuto?
Se sei il titolare dei diritti di qualcosa e vuoi che venga preso in carico, scrivilo nel messaggio e aggiungi i dettagli. Le richieste le legge una persona, non vengono gestite automaticamente.
Posso chiedere una nuova funzionalità?
Sì. Descrivere il problema che stai cercando di risolvere è più utile che descrivere la funzionalità, perché di solito porta a una soluzione più semplice.
Offrite un'API o l'elaborazione in blocco?
Al momento no. Il sito è costruito per un video o un file alla volta.
